He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wood and Fannie Lee Norton; and his brother John Norton. He is survived by: his wife Julia Norton; his sons, Tony Norton (Lisa) of Auburn, AL and Daniel Norton (Susan) of Auburn, AL; and his grandchildren, Brad Norton (Sean Flowers) of Rochester, Ashley Sexton (Levi) of Cartersville, GA, Payne Norton of Birmingham, AL and Camille Norton of Auburn, AL..
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Auburn United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be directed to the Earl L. Norton Memorial Scholarship Fund or Auburn United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
