She was loved and cherished by many people including: husband: Ralph Foster; daughter: Dr. RaEll Foster; sisters: Annette Canty, Betty (Charles) Masten, Bertha (Steve) Paul, Mae Helen Word Trice and Gladwyn "Peggy" Dodson Davis; brother: Grover Phillip "Dooley" Dodson, Jr.; aunt: Vivian Dodson; nieces: Lacey Seabrook, Paula Canty Cobb, Kelli Masten and Artrelle "Duchess" Williams; nephew: Dr. Tharis Word; goddaughters/daughters: Vanessa Echols, Anita Pinnock, Ternesa Campbell Cooper, Valerie Smith and Kristian Samuel; godsons: Eugene Harris, Kenny Samuel and Dr. Kent Smith; god-granddaughter: Aquarius Shawnta Card; caregivers: Gwendolyn Rea and Annie "Lisa Spinks" Dowdell; friends: Mary Echols, Tish Chambliss, Veronica Jackson and Dr. Harriet Billups; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, The Auburn Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., White Street Baptist Church family and many friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the White Street Missionary Baptist Church (535 Carlisle Dr, Auburn, AL 36832). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM.
