He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sandberg and Bernice "Babe" Sandberg; and his son Paul Walter Sandberg. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Huotari Sandberg; his daughter Christine "Chum" Wellbaum (Rob); his granddaughters, Hannah Wellbaum, Maddie Wellbaum and Lilli Wellbaum; and his siblings, Howard Osquist, Dwight Osquist, Don Bunn, Wayne Lough, Pat Warren, Barbara Eidahl, Gordon Silitz, Muriel Hanson, Wynona Brown, Jim Kunze, Connie Herzfeld and Sue Pace. He is also survived by his many siblings, Beverly's family, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
