We bid farewell to George Waldrop (Auburn, Alabama), born in Hueytown, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2026 at the age of 83. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lina Marion Abney Waldrop; his son Matthew Abney Waldrop; his daughter-in-law Shannon Leigh Waldrop; and his grandchildren, George Truitt Waldrop, Liam and Addison Becker.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking donations be made to Auburn University Raptor Center.
