She was predeceased by: her husband Davis Lane Gardner of Chipley; her parents, Essie Rooks and Jesse Rooks; and her siblings, Juanita Rooks Gonsalves and John Arthur Rooks.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Golden (Bill) and Doug (Karen); her grandchildren, Jessica Golden Corman (Clay), Andy Golden (Richelle), Will Golden (Brianna) and Lauren Gardner Steele (Matt); her great grandchildren, William, Davis, Sam Corman, Emery, Elliot Golden and Archie Golden; her sister Bobbie Rooks Kimrey; and her sister-in-law Janelle Gardner Gilbert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews of her large family.
