He was predeceased by: his son Dr. James R. Taylor (Jim). He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Carson (Jim) of Birmingham; his grandchildren, Hayley Tucker (Jimbo), Jim Carson IV (Courtney) and Kayleigh Taylor; his great grandchildren, Carson, Caleb, Judah, Mae Tucker and Ellis Carson; and his brother Bob Taylor (Margaret). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
