With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Thrash of Auburn, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jane Thrash to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jane may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alicia Storbeck (James), Amy Padgett (Scott) and Holly Thrash Keel; her husband Ed L. Thrash, Jr.; and her brother Don McSwain.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
