He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Manning; his children, Lesa (Joe Pike), Georgia, J. Houston (Kene'Manning, Jr.) and Paul (Laura Manning); his grandchildren, Bethany Pike, Canaan, Tabatha Pike, Olivia Manning, Jillian Manning, Luke Manning, Cameron Manning, Tabitha Manning and Asher Manning; his great grandchild Kaleb Pike; and his siblings, Alfred Manning, Frazier Manning and Yvonne Howerton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Church of God (3295 Lee County Rd 54, Opelika, AL 36804). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
