Lottie French Sides Obituary

We announce the death of Lottie French Sides of Auburn, Alabama, who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 100. Lottie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Talmadge French and Pearl Lee Griffith French; her siblings, Dalton, Nancy, Herbert, Morris, Ollie of John Paten and Peggy; her husband Dewey Sides; and her children, Connie Sides Pate and Stanley Sides (Lynn).

She is survived by: her children, Kim Sides (Ellen) and Marsha Peters (William). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the benevolence fund or food pantry at Lakeview Baptist Church.
