She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Catlin Joiner and Helen Marie Joiner; her husband Hardy J. Smith; her siblings, Helen Marie Minor (John), Barbara Ann Culpepper (Bobby), Howard Joiner and Richard Joiner; and her sons-in-law, Lonnie Garrison, Kirby Johnson and Dennis LeBrasseur.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Johnson, Julie Garrison, Stacey LeBrasseur, Jeannie McCormick (Jason), Dr. Raymond Lee Clark, Jr. and William David Clark, III (Sandra); her stepson Edwin Smith (Zhanna); her grandchildren, Michele Perry (David), Rebecca Ann Rutzen, Heidi Netteler (Mark), David Geno Haas, Jr. (Millie), Dr. Carolyn Clark, Sam Clark, Alex Clark, Michael Clark, Connar and Ian Smith; and her great great grandchild Skyler Kirkman. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
