He is survived by: his wife Sheri Wood; his daughters, Taylor Wood Belich and Mallory Wood Young; his sisters, Sheri Wood Howard, Sandi Wood Miller and Ann Wood Davenport; and his siblings' children, Beth Gilliland Peter, Mark Gilliland, Lesly Perry, LeeAnn Hill and Brook Wood. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery (553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856).
