She is survived by: her daughters, Jannette Rowe of Auburn, AL and Carolyn Patricia Caldwell (Daniel) of Palm Springs, CA; her stepchildren, Michael Williams (Regina) of Lafayette, AL, Emmerson Williams (Genise) of Lafayette, AL, Milred Kirk (Carl) of Lafayette, AL, Tony Williams of Lafayette, AL, Mae Magby of Lafayette, AL and Paulette Taylor of Opelika, AL; her grandchildren, Suhaila Thames (Robert) of Mentor, Sha-Naki Monique Williams of Marietta, GA and Jonathon Caldwell of Seattle, WA; her great grandchildren, Oscar Robert "Quinn" Thames of Mentor, Maya Jalyn Thames of Mentor, Noah Oliver Thames of Mentor, Savannah Williams of Marietta, GA and Sasha Williams of Marietta, GA; her siblings, Elease Shaw of Mobile, AL, Laverne Rowe-Gray of Birmingham, AL and Abdul Jamil Rashad (Basimah) of Alexander City, AL; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Rowe of Gastonia, NC and Mary Ella Rowe of Buffalo, NY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church (4 Bond Spur Rd, Camp Hill, AL 36850). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
