He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Carson Dickens and Osie Viola Clayborn Dickens; his former wife Lucille Bailey Dickens; his wife Margaret Dickens; and his sisters, Gladys Widner, Mary Hatch and Rena Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Ava Kee, Dale Dickens (Lynn) and Angela Jolley (Eddie); his stepson Joe Michael Smith (Sherri); his grandchildren, James Kee, Crystal Flowers, Anita Jolley, Carlos Kee and Cari Gantt; his stepgrandchildren, Nathan Smith (Tammi), Dustin Smith (Maria), Emily Dail (Nick) and Ryan Smith (Carley); and his sister Viola Aguire. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
