He was predeceased by: his parents, Terry Chaffin Davis, Sr. and Julia Millirons Davis of Pearisburg, VA.; his sister Christine D. Robinson (Tom) of Blacksburg, VA.; his brother-in-law James H. Tabor (Mary Lee) of Narrows, VA.; and his caregiver Lettie Jones.
He is survived by: his sister Loretta D. Compton (Bob) of Pearisburg, VA; his brother-in-law Tom E. Tabor (Melanie) of Sylva, NC; his wife Betty Tabor Davis; his sons, Kermit Chaffin Davis and Derek Emmett Davis; his grandson Jonathan Chaffin Hunt Davis; and his caregivers, Doris Hutchinson and Vera Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Town Creek Cemetery (1150 S Gay St, Auburn, AL 36832).
