He is survived by: his children, Lashundra Thomas (Corey) of Salem, AL, Yolanda Shelley (Herchel) of Dadeville, AL, Quindarious Matthews of Auburn, AL and Sherman Shelley of Camp Hill, AL; his brothers, Tony Robinson of Waverly, AL and Terry Robinson of Waverly, AL; his daughter-in-law Marcy Gunn of Phenix City, AL; his cousin Mary Frances Dinkins of Waverly, AL; and his close friend Betty Gibson of Opelika, AL. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Pelia Missionary Baptist Church (377 Lee Road 78, Camp Hill, AL 36850). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
