George Sheridan Obituary
In loving memory of George Sheridan of Autaugaville, Alabama, who departed this world on July 7, 2025 at the age of 80. George leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Maggie Speed Sheridan; his siblings, Charles Sheridan, Edward Sheridan, Sara Nell Campbell and Jeannie Dismukes; and his father George Cogdill Sheridan.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Faulk Sheridan; his children, Todd Sheridan (Kim) and Saundra Sheridan Russell; his grandchildren, Georgia Sheridan, Todd Sheridan, Jr. and Scott Michael Russell (Angela); his great grandchildren, SaraFranklin Sheridan and AnnaCharles Sheridan; and his brother Tom Sheridan (Betty). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridout's Prattville Chapel (347 E Main St, Prattville, AL 36067). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Autaugaville Baptist Church (2502 AL-14, Autaugaville, AL 36003). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at the Rocky Hill Cemetery (2578 AL-14, Autaugaville, AL 36003).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Autaugaville Baptist Church, P. O. Box 35, Autaugaville, AL 36003.
