We announce the death of Glenn Taylor of Baileyton, Alabama, born in Manchester, Tennessee, who passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 87. Glenn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Arthur Taylor (DA) and Hattie Cordelia Sliger Taylor; his wife Elaine Thrower Taylor; and his sisters, Geneva Kilgore, Eulene Schiff and Linda Neumeyer.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Bolden, Glenda Woida (Alex), Shelia Stewart (Scott), Angela Sandlin and David Taylor (Darlene); his siblings, Mildred Lancaster and Jerry Taylor (Judy); and his stepchildren, Jimmy Morrow, Renea Pendergraft (Jerry) and Cerett Morrow. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
