She was predeceased by: her parents, O. B. Smith and Jimimae Eubanks Smith; her husband Thomas Rogers Wells, Sr.; and her sister Laura Richards. She is survived by: her son Roger Wells (Marlene); her grandchildren, Brandon Wells (Destiny), Jordan Wells, Heather Blalock (Josh) and Jennifer Dippold (Dan); her great grandchildren, Walker Wells, Keagan Wells, Katheryn Wells, Brody Blalock, Jase Blalock, Hunter Simmons, Drake Simmons and Ella Dippold; her brother-in-law Larry Wells (Virginia); and her close friends, Dot Lindsey and Joyce Morris.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel (434 Ozark Rd, Abbeville, AL 36310). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (85 Pleasant Hill Rd, Eufaula, AL 36027).
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
