He was predeceased by: his son David Dobbs, Jr.; his former wife Wonda Jo Dobbs; his parents, William Olen Dobbs and Edna Fowler Dobbs; and his siblings, Buford Dobbs, Kenneth Dobbs and Gertrude Dobbs Woodward.
He is survived by: his wife Shelba Dobbs; and his children, Greg Dobbs (Vaneisa), Jimmy Dobbs (Eva), Richard Dobbs (Mary) and Janet Hill (John). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
