He was predeceased by : his father Robert Harris Ellis; and his former life partner Joyce Lee Gaissert. He is survived by : his mother Marianna McCaleb Ellis; his daughter Kayla Lee Ellis (Morgan Lindsey); his grandchildren, Abigail Mae Lindsey and Lincoln Lee Lindsey; his brothers, Kenneth D. Ellis and Mark A. Ellis (Lori); and his nieces and nephews, Britt Ellis and Mason Ellis.
