He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Lee Lowery and Dorothy Burgess Lowery; his son Bruce Lowery; and his siblings, Robert Lowery, Bill Ray Lowery, John Edward Lowery, Toby Davis, Christine Hicks, Louise Fore and Bessie Ray Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Reita O'Farrell Lowery; his children, Sandra Day (Sammy) of Atmore, AL, Robin Parker (Todd) of Walnut Hill, FL and Charles Alan Lowery (Becky) of Bratt, FL; his daughter-in-law Julie Van Pelt Brantley of Spanish Fort, AL; and his grandchildren, Kelly Day Gurganus (Jason), Natalie Sandoval (Roland), Cody Parker (Leigh Ann), Dustin Parker, Charles "Jake" Lowery (Danielle), Austin Lowery (Mollie), Bradley Lowery (Kelsy), Michael Lowery (Rachel) and Jessica Lowery. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home (1322 S Main St, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, and The Wounded Warrior Project.
