He is survived by: his wife Janis Irvin Avritt of Bay Minette, AL; his children, Jessica Jackson (Phillip) of Jasper, AL, Julie Avritt (Cal Barber) of Cumming, GA, Wesley Soper of Toxey, AL and Jeff Powell of Raton, NM; and his siblings, Michael Avritt of Fairhope, AL, Wanda Avritt of Thomasville, AL, Dara Whitney of Melborne, FL and Teresa Lassitter of Selma, AL. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
