With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sally Thompson of Bay Minette, Alabama, born in Greensboro, Alabama, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sally Thompson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Colbert S. Thompson; her parents, Mack Stevens and Lula Braizer Stevens; and her siblings, Buddy Stevens, Jewel Booth, Catherine Saranthus, Ruby Womack and Maggie Bacon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy McDonald (Alan) and Brenda Johnson (John); her grandchildren, Sandy Homan (Keegan), Victoria McDonald and Nathan Thompson; her great grandchildren, Allyisa Homan of Bay Minette, AL and Sophia Homan of Bay Minette, AL; and her siblings, Betsy Isabell (Lowell) of Jackson, AL and Johnny Stevens (Shirley) of Mobile, AL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Home (402 E 2nd St, Bay Minette, AL 36507). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the North Baldwin Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 190, Bay Minette, AL 36507 or to the American Heart Association.
