She was predeceased by: her mother Lola Jo Hollis; and her sisters, Doris Cartee and Rita Hollis. She is survived by: her husband Larry Wakefield; her children, Shane Wakefield and Wenona Gilliland (Gerald); her grandsons, William Townsend and Nathan Gilliland (Kaytlyn); and her great grandchildren, Kensleigh Harris, Paisley Gilliland, Noah Gilliland, Hudson Gilliand and Sayler Gilliland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Nichols Marion County Funeral Home (3325 Bexar Ave E, Hamilton, AL 35570). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
