It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Herring Frix of Bear Creek, Alabama, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James W. Herring and Nell Herring; and her brother Michael Herring. She is survived by : her husband Sonny Lee Frix; her children, Lee Herring Frix (Elaine) and Mary Alma Jackson (Josh); her brother Myron Herring; her grandchildren, Eli Bryant Jackson and Marlee Elaine Frix; and her caregivers, Jamie, Julia, Sally, Kier, Todd and Becky.
