He was predeceased by : his parents, Sam Taylor and Cora Taylor (Miller); his brother James; and his nephew Terry. He is survived by : his wife Ginger; his daughters, Jenifer Markham (Patrick) of Northport, Labrisca Blakney (Nick) of Northport and April Wise (David) of Vernon; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Mack), CJ (Hannah), Mason (Addie), Hannah, Leslie and Claire; and his siblings, Shirley Kennedy, Guary Taylor, Robert Taylor (Sherry), David Taylor (Sara) and Sheila Flannigan (Ricky). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Otts Funeral Home (4255 US-278, Sulligent, AL 35586). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at the Sizemore Memorial Cemetery.
