With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Mixon Jones of Beaverton, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abe Franklin Mixon and Minnie Lee Robertson Mixon. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Jones (Mary Ann) of Vernon, AL, Veronica Jones of Tuscumbia, AL and Anita Diane Jones Vance of Clanton, AL.; her brother-in-law Farrell Wheeler of Millport, AL.; her grandchildren, Casey Duckworth (Michelle), Bradley Duckworth (Brandi), Robert Duckworth, Clint Jones (Angel) and Dillon Jones (Victoria); and her great grandchildren, Emma Duckworth, Brelyn Duckworth, Mason Jones, Marley Jones, Halle Jones and Lela Ray Jones.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel (4255 US-278, Sulligent, AL 35586). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
