He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Sue Bonner Gurganus; and his brother Phillip Gurganus. He is survived by: his father Raymond Wright Gurganus of Berry; his children, Barry Lynn Gurganus, Jr. (Cheryl) of Nunda, NY and Crystal Lynn Fincher Lewis (Charles); and his sister Robin Carol Gurganus Acevedo (Jose) of Slidell, LA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
