He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wilburn, Shirley Dozier, Melvin and Billy Waltrip. He is survived by: his wife Bethany Yerby Waltrip; his mother Melisa Bowles; his sons, Brandon Simmons (Hannah), Eli Waltrip and Ashton Waltrip; his brother Shane Waltrip (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Maddy, Riggins and Dallas Simmons.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel (3659 AL-171, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
