It is with sadness that the passing of Benjamin Floyd Scalise (Bessemer, Alabama) is shared. Benjamin, born on July 25, 1960, passed away on June 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Scalise and Elizabeth Scalise; and his brother-in-law Frankie Cacioppo. He is survived by: his wife Amy S Scalise; his daughters, Amy M Scalise and Ashley Lawrence (Seth); his stepdaughter SaVanna Cook (Carter); his sisters, Paula Lawson (Steve) and Angie Cacioppo; his grandchildren, Grayson Scalise (Icy), Brennon Marlin, Camden Lawrence and Brooklyn Lawrence; and his great grandchild Bentley Scalise. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation to help support the research to cure this horrible disease that Benjie lived with for 8 years.
