She was predeceased by: the father of her children Powell Dabbs, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Jeannine Dabbs. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Dabbs (Eren), John Paul Dabbs and Angela Wible (Ron); her grandchildren, Nicholas (Megan), Jared (Barbara), Britni (Hunter), Caitlin (Chris), Madison (Luke), Jordan and John Jr.; her great grandchildren, Gracie, Tyler, Adeline, Avery, Benjamin and Cody; and her brother Roscoe Givens (Debbie). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
