We announce the death of Brenda Joyce Brandon (Bessemer, Alabama), who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Brandon and Ruby Brandon; her sisters, Doris Wallace, Faye Posey and Jean Harmon; and her daughters, Tracey Tipton and Terri Carter.
She is survived by: her son Michael Ware (Shannon); her grandchildren, Zac Ware (Marissa), Zach Laney, Nicole Leo (Nick), D. J. Streit (Brandon) and Jordan Perkins (Shane); her great grandchildren, River, Emily, Arlo of Nate, C. J. and Brody; and her nieces, Lynn Wallace, Roni Wallace and Pete'Wallace.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home (1300 4th Ave N, Bessemer, AL 35020). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Valhalla Cemetery (839 Wilkes Rd, Birmingham, AL 35228).
