It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brent A. Jefferson of Bessemer, Alabama, who passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Ida Mae Coverson; his siblings, Iris and Ernest (Ernkie); his son Brent Jr.; and his grandson Jamius.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Detroit, Jody, Marcus (Tony), Martez and Yashuna (Quis); and his sisters, Crystal, Brenda and Beatrice. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. And a host niece's, nephews, family, and friends.
