He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Reid and Mary Margaret Reid; and his brother Wallace Reid. He is survived by: his wife Marcie Reid; his daughters, Cindy Naish, Carla Emmons (Dennis), Shannon Reid and Kristen Reid; and his sisters, Nina Orr (John) and Susie Crittenden. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
