He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Scott and Irving Durand; and his wife Olga Jeannine Jenkins Caine. He is survived by: his siblings, Frances Spencer (Foy Jr.), Esther Towers (Okie), Thomas and Harold Caine; his children, Elizabeth Maddox (Beth), Phil Caine (Beverly) and Dan Caine of Bessemer; his siblings-in-law, Carl Jenkins of Gadsden, Delle Caine of Hueytown and Barbara Caine of North Carolina; his friends, Wayne Posey, Dave Donaldson and Jimmy; his caregiver Angela; his grandsons, Logan Caine and Josh Campbell; his grandson-in-law Larry Caine; his nephew Dave Hadder; his nephew-in-law Ladd Essman; Robbie Caine. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peoples Chapel (195 Brooklane Dr, Hueytown, AL 35023). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Highland Memorial Gardens (3115 18th Ave, Bessemer, AL 35020).
