She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Kate and Johnnie B. Gaines Sr.; and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Lucille Hicks-Gaines. She is survived by: her children, Dorothy, Valerie Willis (Arthur), Diontress Gaines and Ashley Gaines; her grandchildren, Kierra Hicks, Arterrius Willis, Treyvon Willis, Deaundra Coleman, Kameron Gaines and Madyson Alexander; her great grandchildren, JaBari, Jace Boles and Kameron Reynolds; her grandson Cameron Brand; her siblings, Johnny B. Gaines Jr. of Detroit, MI, Mary J. Gaines of Fairfield, AL, Juanita Willis and Lucille Walker; and her close friend Henry Ramsey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
