We are sad to announce that, on January 20, 2022, at the age of 89, Edna Peterson of Bessemer, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyce Patton and Beatrice Patton; her brother James Patton; and her husband Jimmy Peterson. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Slay (Beth); her grandchildren, Mark Slay, Marley Slay and Sarah Slay (John Moore); her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Patton and Yolanda Peterson; her cousin Eloise Graham; her friend Edna; Edna and Jimmy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morgan United Methodist Church, Bessemer, Alabama, or a charity of choice.
