It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean C Martin of Bessemer, Alabama, born in Brent, Alabama, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James M. Martin; and her parent Vonia P. Martin. She is survived by: her children, Steve Martin (Debbie), Sandy George (John) and Katherine Sudduth (Steve); her grandchildren, Christy Banks (BJ) and Jonathan Hagood; and her great grandchildren, Austin Armstrong, Brayden Banks, Elijah James Banks and Noah Wilson Banks.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to request donations be made in Jean's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
