He is survived by: his son Shane Gibson (Christie); his grandchildren, Mary Grace Gibson, Shelby Lynn Gibson, Michaela Layne Granec and Garren Riley Granec; his siblings, Willie David Gibson (Etta), Jimmy Lee Gibson, Sarah Ruth Martinez (Henry), Annette Lyvonne Miller, Patsy Jewel Pryor (Steve) and Vicky Dean Gibson; and his close friend Patricia Burchfield.
