She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph B. Thomas, Sr.; and her children, Rev. Daryll Thomas (Melanie), Maria Denise Nevett (Bobby Jackie) and Linda Carol Jones (Lorenzo). She is survived by: her son Joseph B. Thomas, Jr. (Gwendolyn); and her brother James Earl McCuller (Shirley). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great granchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
