It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lauri Jayne Jones of Bessemer, Alabama, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Stamps and Kay Hudson; her father-in-law Wayne Jones; her sisters-in-law, Beth Cook, Jennifer Bullington and Cyndi Arnold; her great-nephews, John Michael and JT Newsome; her niece Jackie Norris; and her nephew Scott Norris.
She is survived by: her husband Patrick Jones; her son Sawyer Jones (Twyla Jones); her grandchildren, Stetson Jones and Shylah Jones; her sister Shari Watson (Ralph Watson); and her stepbrothers, Greg Hudson and Rocky Hudson. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
