We announce the death of Michele Kelley DiChiara (Bessemer, Alabama), who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 73. Michele will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Michele will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Michele will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Michele’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brooke Johnson (Jacob) and Erin Nelson (Mark); her grandchildren, Parker, Gia and AJ; and her sisters, Patricia Kelley Campbell (Lindsey) and Jackie Kelley DiBenedetto.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Highlands Grants Mill Campus.
