Norma Shaw Ward Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 27, 2025, at the age of 103, Norma Shaw Ward of Bessemer, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Norma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Norma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Ward Jr.; her parents, Joseph C. Shaw and Mamie Bell Shaw; her sisters, Kathryn Swindle and Mamie June Seibert; and her son-in-law Chuck Gordon.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynda Kay Ward Gordon; her granddaughters, Jamie (Greg), Kate (Marcelo) and Lily (Rob); and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Grace and Cole.
