It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Eugene Miller (Bessemer, Alabama), born in Waurika, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Henry and Marie Yvonne Miller (Welch). He is survived by: his children, Hubert (Idanea) of La Paz, Baja Sur of California, Alexis Surratt (Jerry) of Gulfport, Miss., Rytis Juzikis (Kelly) of McCalla, Hesper Miller-Daniel (John) of Picayune, Miss. and Anastasia Fazende (Jason) of Picayune; his siblings, Micky (Jeannine) of Bowie, Texas, Dicky "Jake" (La May) of Dewey, Okla, Ikey (Robin Sue) of Wichita Falls, Texas and Nicki Etheridge (Wayne) of Waurika; and his close friends, Rev. Mike Bates of Irving and Homer Lee Greer Jr. of Albuquerque, N. M.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; one great grandson.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McCalla Memorial Funeral Home (4780 Letson Farms Pkwy, McCalla, AL 35111). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
