With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susie Whitely (Bessemer, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Susie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Susie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church (101 Pine St, Bessemer, AL 35020). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (650 Circle Heights Cir, Bessemer, AL 35020).
