He was predeceased by: his father DeWayne T. Lawson; and his sister Amanda Lawson. He is survived by: his sons, Caden Lee Bortz, Kamdyn DeWayne Lawson and Karsyn Neil Lawson; his mother Peggy Lawson; his brothers, Heath Lawson (Morgan) and Chris Lawson; and his niece Aleigha Lawson.
