It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Ross (Bigbee, Alabama), who passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Willie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Willie farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parent Millry. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Ross Wheeler; his grandson Jonathan Wheeler; his brother Frank "Boog" Ross; and his stepchildren, Linda Dumas Tucker, Bobby Jordan, Debra Holyfield, Barbara Lee, James "BoBo" Jordan and Charlotte Jordan. He is also survived by 10 step-grandchildren as well as many other relatives and dear friends.
