He was predeceased by: his parents, Elex Calvin "E. C." McGalliard and Nancy Cordelia "Cordie" Bates McGalliard; and his siblings, Otis (Dorthy), James (Elizabeth), Calvin (Myrtle), Jack (Mittie), Lee (Mavis), Marion (Mary), Theodore "Buck", Dorothy Ann Ballard (Bruce), Beatrice Jackson (Ralf), Bessie Howell (Elvin) and Bell Headley (Horace).

He is survived by: his wife Flo (Flo); his children, Randall (Frankie) of Marbury, Curtis (Charlotte) of Prattville, Allen of Verbena and Wanda Clark (Greg) of Moss Point; and his grandchildren, Heath McGalliard (Candi), Chase McGalliard (Wendy), Amanda Dickey (Chris), Kenneth McGalliard (Sam), Randall Clark (Heather Dene'), Rick McGalliard (Samantha), Heather Lilly (David), Jennifer Smith (Ronnie), Katie Hill (Billy) and Braxton McGalliard. He is also survived by 29 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren as well as the many dear friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Indian Grave Baptist Church (1343 Co Rd 24, Billingsley, AL 36006). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at the Indian Grave Cemetery (1643 Co Rd 24, Billingsley, AL 36006).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Gideons or The Young at Heart group at Indian Grave Baptist Church.
