He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Reedy Phillips and Katie Olean George; his children, Paula Eddy, Gene Phillips, Dena Phillips (Chip) and Dana Phillips (Roxanne); his grandchildren, Charlie Rawls (Gina), Cecil Eddy, Courtney Williams (Nate), Zachary Phillips (Pareasa) and Tiffany Hart (Schuyler); and his great grandchildren, Kane Rawls and Theodore Williams.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
