Moore of Bowie, MD and Minnie Daniels of Atlanta, GA; her aunt Yvonne Augustus of New York, NY; her siblings' children, Anthony Steele of Birmingham, AL, John Steele of Birmingham, AL, Christopher Steele of Birmingham, AL, Corey Reynolds (DiAnna) of Birmingham, AL, Kathy Henderson of Birmingham, AL, LeTonya Reynolds of Birmingham, AL, Tracey Reynolds of Birmingham, AL, Robin Reynolds of Birmingham, AL, Jasmine Moore Kamara (John) and Antoinette Moore of Bowie, MD; and her close friends, Tunson of Maryland and Larry Summers. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of dear cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Woodland Park Church of Christ (1800 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at the G. W. Carver Memorial Cemetery (1020 Minor Pkwy, Birmingham, AL 35224).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute in honor of our mother's legacy as a foot soldier in the 1960's civil rights movement.
